Biography
A. A. Van Buren, a longtime employee of D. H. Baldwin & Company, became a partner in the firm in 1882 following R. A. Johnston's death, alongside George W. Armstrong, Jr. and Clarence Wulsin. After founder D. H. Baldwin died in 1899, Van Buren was the only remaining partner besides Lucien Wulsin and Armstrong, and his stock, along with the Baldwin estate's, was bought out by Wulsin and Armstrong to keep the firm intact.
