Biography
A. E. Johnson served as secretary of the Haddorff Piano Company, which employed over one million dollars in capital. Under his able management the company pursued a liberal and aggressive business policy while adhering strictly to ethical principles, continually widening its sphere of activity. During his tenure the firm successfully introduced its Haddorff grand pianos to the concert platform, where they came to be used regularly by prominent virtuosos of the day.
