Biography
A. P. Roth had acquired thorough business training in the author's store and general offices in New York before partnering with Frederick Engelhardt in January 1889 to form Roth & Engelhardt, makers of piano actions, which later produced player pianos including the 'Peerless' and 'Harmonist'. Roth retired from the firm on January 1, 1908.
