Biography
Abner Bourne was, per Spillane's information, an ancestor of the Bourne family later connected with piano-making in Boston. He was associated with Jonas Chickering in furthering the affairs of the Handel and Haydn Society, of which Chickering was elected Vice-President in 1834.
