Biography
Adolf Schiedmayer, Jr., born in 1847, is described as the head of the Schiedmayer & Söhne house at the time of writing, maintaining the honored traditions of the firm with great success. He wore the title "Privy Counselor of Commerce" and also served as president of the Piano Manufacturers' Association of Germany. Under him the firm held appointment as purveyor to the courts of Wurtemburg and Roumania.
