Alfred L. Peck
?-1911
president
Biography
Alfred L. Peck, son of Leopold Peck, had for many years been in the family piano business before the management devolved upon him after his father's death. When the firm was incorporated under New York law in February 1905, A. L. Peck became its president. Too close attention to the affairs of the business eventually undermined his health, and he died at Munich, Germany, on September 16, 1911, while traveling in search of a cure. His cousin, Carl E. Peck, succeeded him in the presidency of Hardman, Peck and Company.
