C. C. Briggs — Piano People

Biography

C. C. Briggs headed the Boston firm of Briggs & Company, a maker of pianos in that city. Spillane mentions him only in passing, to clarify that the New York maker Gilbert V. Briggs, despite sharing the Briggs surname, was no relation of his and had trained separately, in the shop of Nunns & Clark.
