Biography
Campbell was named by Spillane among the general merchants of New York, alongside Hayman Levy, Peter Goelet, Gault, John Arthur, and Rivington, who informally imported harpsichords, and occasionally a pianoforte for a special customer, before 1776, bringing them over alongside furniture, paintings, and other luxury goods.
