Biography
Chelius is named in the text alongside Neff as one of the 'well-known masters' under whose tutelage Theodore J. Kraft trained on the bench at the old Emerson factory in Boston, beginning at age fifteen. This training was said to be demonstrated in the quality of the pianos Kraft later produced under his own name.
