Daniel Morris
piano maker
Biography
Daniel Morris was one of the Boston makers active around 1850, listed alongside A. W. Ladd's shop, Edwin Fobes, L. Matt, J. Munroe, and S. Brooks as makers who aimed mainly at providing a popular-priced instrument. The text singles him out as the only one of these persons still in the trade at the time of writing, the others having passed away as manufacturers, though some had successors who maintained their lines.
