Biography
F. S. Shaw succeeded F. S. Cable as president of the Cable Company in 1903. Under his able management the company further extended its activities, adding a department for player pianos and paying careful attention to the artistic development of the Conover piano in preparation for its introduction on the concert platform, helping the Cable Company become a leading manufacturer of the western continent.
