Biography
Fayette S. Cable, referred to also as F. S. Cable, was one of H. D. Cable's brothers called to assist as the family's piano and organ business expanded. After H. D. Cable's death in 1899, the incorporated firm was renamed the Cable Company in the founder's honor, and F. S. Cable served as its president until 1903, when he left to start in business on his own account.
