Frederick Doll
retail store manager
Biography
Frederick Doll, one of Jacob Doll's five sons, was given charge of the management of the firm's nine retail stores following the 1904 incorporation of Jacob Doll and Sons. He was assisted in this work by his youngest brother, Charles Doll. Like all of his brothers, he had been trained as a practical piano maker under his father, and his work helped the family firm maintain its position as one of the leading piano manufacturers and retailers in the United States, particularly known for player pianos and coin-operated electric pianos.
