Biography
Fritz Weickert, nephew of Otto Weickert, joined his cousin Max Weickert in taking over management of the family's felt manufacturing business after Otto's fifty years of active leadership. Together they maintained the conservative policy of the historic house of I. D. Weickert while allowing for progressive advancement, continuing a business built across successive generations of the Weickert family alongside the Patzschke family's technical management.
