Biography

G. Kingley was a piano-maker who settled in New Orleans in 1830, where he made pianos for several years. He had learned his trade in the shop of the Loud Brothers before relocating south, part of a wave of Philadelphia-trained makers who founded small piano-making concerns in Southern cities in this period.
