Biography
George Dutton established the original piano business at Utica, New York, in 1821. The business was later moved to Philadelphia by his son in 1865 and eventually became Dutton and Son. George Dutton was the grandfather of William Dalliba Dutton, treasurer of Hardman, Peck and Company.
