Biography
George H. Jones, the eldest son of Frederick George Jones, was born at Oregon, Illinois, in 1875. Described as a thorough piano-maker with several important improvements in piano construction to his credit, he originated a patented rectangular back brace for upright pianos. Following his father's death he became acting president of the Schiller Piano Company, devoting most of his time to managing its factories.
