Biography

George H. Moessinger entered the employ of C. Kurtzmann and Company as general office man and cashier in 1893, well prepared by earlier experience as cashier for a railroad corporation and as office and confidential man for one of Buffalo's large manufacturing concerns. He became a stockholder in the Kurtzmann corporation in 1896 and was elected treasurer, an office he continued to hold. The text credits the rapid growth and popularity of the Kurtzmann piano in part to the fidelity of managers such as Moessinger in upholding the firm's traditions.
