Biography

Henry F. Miller, Jr. led his brothers in continuing the work of their father after Henry F. Miller's death in 1884. Under his leadership the sons kept improving the musical character of their pianos, which came to be used by many of the greatest virtuosos in concert work, and the firm was among the first and most persistent advocates of architecturally correct designs for piano cases, achieving marked success in that direction as well.
