Biography
Henry Nickel, son of Adam Nickel -- one of the founders of Wessell, Nickel and Gross -- was born in New York in 1879. After attending Columbia Institute he turned to action making under his father's guidance. He was elected a director and vice-president of the corporation in 1899, and to the office of treasurer in 1912.
