Henry W. T. Steinway, born January 24, 1856, was a member of the firm of Steinway & Sons at the time of writing and one of three sons of the late Charles Steinway serving in the firm, alongside Charles H. and Frederick T. Steinway. He and his brothers were described as highly educated and practically trained in all departments of piano construction and its acoustics.
