Biography
Son of Johann Lorenz Schiedmayer, Hermann Schiedmayer was admitted to partnership with his brother Adolf in 1845, at which point the firm was renamed Schiedmayer & Söhne. He died in 1891, a year after his brother Adolf. A portrait of Hermann Schiedmayer accompanies the text.
