Biography
Hobart M. Cable, Jr. was born in Boston on December 15, 1881. He graduated from high school and attended the law course at Cornell University for one year, after which he went with his father to Chicago to take up piano making as his life's work. He succeeded his father as president of the Hobart M. Cable Company following his father's death in December 1909.
