Biography

Horace Greeley co-edited the New World with Parke Benjamin around 1841, the paper on which Henry C. Watson began his American career as musical critic. Greeley later had as a close associate Henri L. Stuart, described as his "right-hand" and an indefatigable promoter of industrial and political enterprises.
