Horace Waters, Jr., son of Horace Waters, was at present retired but had for some years been connected with his father's business, Horace Waters & Company. He is described as a cultivated musician and a gentleman of many estimable traits of character, acquainted with all details of piano manufacturing and music publishing, and as possessing artistic perceptions of a high order.
