Biography
Hugh Reinagle was the son of Reinagle, the Philadelphia theatre director connected to Taws's piano business. He became noted very early in life for his musical precocity, marking him as a promising musical talent. His career was cut short when he died suddenly of yellow fever in New Orleans during 1820.
