Biography

J. C. Barnes was a well-known piano salesman with twenty-one years' experience in the warerooms of Chickering & Sons. Before Frank C. Decker joined the firm in 1875, Barnes was briefly connected with Myron A. Decker, but the partnership was dissolved after a short interval.
