Biography
Jeff Davis Bill, together with E. Lyman Bill, acquired the Music Trades Review (founded in 1879 by Charles Avery Welles) in 1887. The two partners edited and perpetuated the journal thereafter, and its good circulation was attributed in part to their personal popularity within the trade.

- Acquired the Music Trades Review with E. Lyman Bill in 1887 and continued its publication as 'Messrs. Bill & Bill.'
