Biography
Jesse French, Jr., son of Jesse French, Sr., studied at the Wallace University of Tennessee and graduated from the St. Louis Business College at nineteen, whereupon he entered his father's employ in St. Louis. He proved an able salesman, aided by his musical training (he played cornet in family musical evenings), and after thorough office training went on to hold the combined offices of secretary, treasurer, and sales manager of the Jesse French and Sons Piano Company.
