Biography
John Ruckers was a son of the Antwerp harpsichord-maker Hans Ruckers. Along with his brother Andrew, he assisted his father in making significant improvements to the harpsichord toward the seventeenth century, during the period when the elder Ruckers' reputation grew famous throughout France and Germany. No further individual details are given in this account beyond his role assisting in the family workshop.
