Biography
Joseph Adam Fleming was a harpsichord and pianoforte maker who advertised himself, in May 1785, as coming 'from Europe,' working from 27 Crown Street in New York. His advertisement in the Independent Journal stated that he made, sold, bought, and exchanged harpsichords and other instruments, and would also let them out on quarterly payments.
