Biography

Mr. Lambert (given name not stated) was a founding partner of Schnabel, Hintz & Lambert, established in 1875 at 136 Elm Street, New York. After Hintz left the firm, Lambert continued in partnership with Edmund Schnabel as Schnabel & Lambert beginning the following May. The firm made a name for itself over a comparatively short period and was in business for some years, until financial mismanagement led to its dissolution, though the partners honorably settled all debts before parting ways.
