Biography
Grandson of the pioneering action manufacturer J. C. L. Isermann and son of C. W. Isermann, Ludolf Isermann joined the family firm in Hamburg in 1904. Harassing labor conditions there later led him to leave and join the firm of F. Langer & Company of Berlin, a house established since 1882 with an enviable reputation and one of the largest establishments of its kind, where he continued the work associated with his grandfather and father.
