Moser
piano maker
Biography
Moser is mentioned by Dolge alongside Frederick Mathushek as a builder of double soundboards glued together so that the grain of one board crossed the grain of the other at right angles. This construction made transverse vibration impossible, and Dolge notes that instruments with such boards were not inferior in volume or tone quality to any others.
