Biography
Neff is named in the text as one of the 'well-known masters' under whose tutelage Theodore J. Kraft trained on the bench at the old Emerson factory in Boston, beginning when Kraft was fifteen years old. Kraft's later success as a maker of pianos bearing his own name was said to demonstrate the quality of that early training.
