Biography
Nothnagel was a German music master engaged to give J. Frank Conover, later co-founder of the piano manufacturing firm Conover Brothers, a thorough musical education. This grounding in music was intended by Conover's father, Garret Conover, to complement the practical mechanical and business training his son would later receive from the piano maker Albert Weber, together preparing him for his career equipping and improving Conover Brothers pianos.
