Biography
O. A. Kimball was one of three men, along with P. H. Powers and J. Gramer, who in 1879 bought William Moore's interest in the Emerson piano business, founded originally by William P. Emerson. Together they organized the Emerson Piano Company, with Powers serving as president. Dolge gives no further individual detail about Kimball's background, dates, or specific role within the new company beyond his participation as one of its organizing investors.
