Biography
P. Unger was a practical piano-maker who joined Torp's firm in 1838, replacing the departing partner Love and forming Torp & Unger. The firm exhibited at the Mechanics' Institute that year and continued in business at 465 Broadway, New York, for several years afterward. Unger later left to open his own key-making concern.
