Peter Mixell

Biography
Peter Mixell was described as an old-time Albany, and later New York, piano-maker. He was the brother-in-law of Alfred J. Newby, later co-founder of the New York firm Newby & Evans, and it was under Mixell that Newby served his apprenticeship and learned the trade of piano-making.
