Biography
Mr. R. E. Small was the business partner of F. L. Dusinberre in the New York firm of Dusinberre & Company, described as a native New Yorker and a practical man. Small attended to the superintendence of the factory and its necessities, complementing Dusinberre's role, while the firm concentrated on manufacturing upright pianos of good quality at an accessible price.
