Biography
S. B. Shoninger is noted as the son who took over direction of the Shoninger piano-making business from his father. Shoninger is given in this portion of the text beyond his role as the business's current director. From Spillane (1890): Simon B. Shoninger, son of Bernard Shoninger, was another member of the B. Shoninger Piano firm of New Haven, Conn., described by Spillane as an able business man who helped the firm maintain New York warerooms.
