Talbot
Biography
Talbot was a partner in the Albany piano-making firm of Lyon & Talbot, recorded elsewhere as Hazelton, Lyon & Talbot, in which Henry Hazelton worked for a short time after his apprenticeship with James A. Gray. According to the text, Talbot in later years left Albany and went to Baltimore, in contrast to his partner Lyon, who remained in Albany. No first name, dates, or further biographical detail is given for Talbot in this portion of the text, but his career forms part of the genealogy of Albany piano firms traced through James A. Gray's correspondence with the author regarding the city's manufacturing history since 1836. Talbot (given name not stated) joined Henry Hazelton and A. Lyon as a partner in the Albany piano-making firm that took the name Hazelton, Lyon & Talbot. No further biographical information is provided in the text.
