Biography
W. C. Schwamb is called a most eminent piano maker, scale designer, and constructor, secured by James B. Woodford as president of the Schomacker Piano Company. Schwamb succeeded in remodeling the Schomacker piano in a manner that assured it a place in the front rank of the best pianos of the day.
