W. H. Currier
partner
piano maker
Biography
W. H. Currier is named as one of the partners of the Albany piano-manufacturing firm Boardman & Gray at the time of James A. Gray's death in December 1889. The firm at that date was composed of James A. Gray, his son William J. Gray, W. H. Currier, and W. W. Whitney, the latter two evidently having joined the concern as it expanded beyond the founding partnership of Boardman and Gray. No further particulars of Currier's career, background, or specific contributions to the firm are given in this portion of the text, beyond his standing as one of the men carrying the Boardman & Gray name forward at the close of the 1880s.
