Biography
W. P. Stymus, Jr. is credited with designing a Louis XIV style grand piano produced by the Weber Piano Company, which the text notes had made building art pianos a specialty for many years. The instrument is illustrated in the book's plates as a representative example of the firm's art-piano output during this period.
