Biography
Wallace Wiley Chickering, the third of the Chickering brothers to join the Chicago firm, had originally chosen a professional career and graduated from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in the department of Mechanical Engineering. He was called in to assist his brothers, Clifford C. and Fred Wilby Chickering, in managing their ever-growing business, and in 1907 was made a member of the firm of Chickering Brothers.
