William Haines

Biography
William Haines was a son of N. J. Haines, head of the New York piano firm Haines Brothers. After the 1887 death of Francis W. Haines, he assisted his father in operating the company together with his brother, N. J. Haines Jr. Both sons were described as thoroughly trained in all departments of the business, mechanical and commercial, and in sympathy with the progress of musical art.
