Biography
William Otto Wissner, eldest son of Otto Wissner, was born in New York in 1882. He began his career as a piano maker quite early and developed so well that he became a valuable assistant to his father at the age of twenty, remaining in full charge of the factories until 1909, when he turned his attention to managing the sales department. When the family business was incorporated with a capital of $1,000,000, he became its treasurer.
