Raymond Day-Hakker

Raymond Day-Hakker is a dedicated piano technician with a long career in piano making, restoration, tuning, and voicing. He studied at C.H. McFarland Pianos in Marrickville and the Amsterdam Institute of Piano Making. He has worked with musical instrument firms like Wadsworth Stamford and Nicholson's, and owned Alpine Acoustics in Katoomba. He founded Centralwestpianos.com in 2005 to provide piano services in the Central West of NSW, specializing in restoring heirloom pianos and creating Australia's only dedicated Piano Museum, the Golden Era Pianos Museum.
