Doctor Octave's Piano Services

Doctor Octave, known by the pseudonym of Mark L. Tolley, was introduced to piano technology in 2004 while pursuing a music degree at the University of Alberta. He completed a five-year apprenticeship under master technician Bruce Hettinger and mastered piano rebuilding/reconditioning at Don's Piano Place in St. Albert. Established in 2005, the business has cared for over 100 pianos in Latter-day Saint chapels and partnered with the University of Alberta, Edmonton Public Schools, and Community Arts programs. Mark is known for his attention to detail and support of community arts and music-education programs.
